Selecting
a Product Category and Placing an
Order
The first thing to do when you arrive
at our home page is to select a product
category from the left hand navigation
bar. You will then be taken into that
section of our online store. So, if
you were to select 'Helium Gas', for
example, you will be taken to the
'Helium Gas' section of our store.
When you are taken to our 'Helium
Gas' section, you will notice that
the section has been further broken
down into sub-sections. This has been
done to make it easier for you to
navigate through our vast product
catalogue and find your product of
choice.
From here, select a section which
best describes what you are looking
for. You will then be taken to a further
sub-section or presented with a list
of products that you can purchase.
You will find that each product has
more useful information usually including
a description, cover picture and price
amongst other things. Stock availability
is also listed, so you can see how
long it will take to process your
order.
If you would like to order that product,
then simply select the 'Add to Basket'
button.
Continue
Shopping or Go to Checkout?
When you have ordered a product you
will be taken to a page that asks
you whether you would like to 'Continue
Shopping' or 'Go to Checkout'. So,
if you would like to add further products
to your order then press the 'Continue
Shopping' button. Otherwise, if you
would like to pay for your items then
press the 'Go to Checkout' button.
Entering
Your Personal Details
At this stage you will be required
to provide us with your personal details
and delivery address. There are certain
pieces of information, which we must
have when you order from Party Shop
Direct. So, please be as complete
and accurate as possible.
Please note that your personal information
is secure with us. We adhere to the
Data Protection Act, and will never
disclose any of your personal details
to third parties without asking for
your prior permission. For further
information on this, please read our
'Privacy
Policy'.
Order
Summary and Payment Details
After entering your personal details
you will be taken to the order summary
screen. This screen displays information
regarding postage and packing charges,
adds them to your order, and presents
you with the total cost of your order,
including VAT. When you are happy
with the total order cost, select
the 'pay for goods' button. Here you
will be asked for your credit card
details. Once these have been entered
and your completed order has been
submitted, your details will be transmitted
to your bank for authorisation.
Order
Confirmation
On submitting your credit
card details, and upon authorisation,
you will receive an order confirmation
which can be printed online or sent
to you via email, summarising your
order. Please keep this information
safe.
